About A Gift of Faith
We are a family owned gift store located in Stony Plain, Alberta. We specialize in supporting your life of Christian faith. All of our products feature sacred scripture or an inspiring quote. Whether it is the coffee mug for a dear friend, a devotional journal or a gift to celebrate a sacrament, we do our best to have an attractive selection of quality items for you to choose from. Welcoming people of all Christian faiths and serving Stony Plain, Spruce Grove, Parkland County, Northern Alberta and beyond, gives us a unique perspective on what people would like for their lives of faith.
Our History - So, how did we come to be?
In the early years of the 21st century, my sister and I saw a decline in the availability of Christian focused products in the general marketplace. Where a gift shop would offer secular and Christian message items, times changed, and more often than not, only the secular remained. We became frustrated not having the option to find even an inspirational option, if not something with a message of God.
Having always wanted to open a small business but never knowing what product we were passionate about presenting to the public, the Good Lord drew on our lifelong Christian faith experiences and guided us to step forward with boldness…thus in October 2011, A Gift of Faith was born.
The Christian community we serve has welcomed us with open arms and often we hear the comment “you have so many lovely things here, I will be back.” Our greatest blessing is when a customer is able to find the perfect something that will encourage, inspire or comfort. Then they tell a friend or neighbour.
Our family believes this is the true mission of our store, helping people live the gospel of Christ not only in the extraordinary moments of life, but in the everyday.
